I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts in Interior Design. From there, I spent a couple years working in interior design sales which built a strong foundation in understanding the need for a strong client/designer relationship. I take pride in my ability to connect with my clients, decipher their needs, and produce stunning spaces that exceed expectations.
I spent a few years working in commercial Architecture, here I worked on a vast array of projects including retail establishments, government facilities, and office spaces. The knowledge gained was invaluable. I have extensive experience preparing full construction documents for large scale projects, as well as, a strong understanding of local and International Building codes. In conjunction with working full-time I took the NCIDQ exam and received my certification as a licensed Interior Designer under the requirements by the Council for Interior Design Qualification.
Currently, I'm working mainly on residential interior design specializing in new builds and interior renovation projects. I find great passion in guiding my clients to a stunning homes that offer a beautiful aesthetic but also functionality for their day to day lives. I manage your project fully from the initial preliminary meeting to the completion of design. I work closely with my clients and the contractor to create a space that completely reflects the clients needs and wants. I’m involved in the selection of all of the finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
